Mr. O You Will Be Missed!!!

Today, My Grandfather at 94, Passed Away! I have so many wonderful memories with Him.We would go to the park, He would play golf, and make us take naps in the park, We got to sit on His lap and drive His truck, We would get fresh white rolls from the super market and He taught us how to pick out the best cucumbers.... He taught me so much. As I sit here, and write this, I can hear him say, " Stand up straight young Man, you're not a Question Mark."  Or His famous " Lightning Strike"
94 Years this Man lived and to know that this is only the beginning! For as He closed His eyes and went to rest, He opened them to see Jesus face to face! A few days before I heard that my Grandfather excepted the Lord as His Savior, I read this in Psalm139: 13-18" For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in your book they all were written, The days fashioned from me, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me , O God! If i should count them, they would be more in number than the sand, When I awake, I am still with You."
The Lord is Faithful and Never does He give up on us! Though there is sadness in my heart today, there is a joy that I will have eternity with my grandfather, praising Our Lord together.
This Christmas season my grandfather Anthony Orzech received the best Christmas gift He ever got in His entire life, He got Jesus, and Jesus called His Name to come Home!
How about you? I am not sure what your view on God is, But have you ever been afraid of a baby? Have you ever been threatened by a baby?
Jesus Christ came into this world as a baby, lying in a manger, to live, to die, to rise again, so that you may have everlasting life, if you would so chose to surrender your life to Him. Don't wait, Today is the day of Salvation for you.
So with one eye filled with tears, and the other filled with Joy ! I say see you later to my Hero, whom I will dearly miss! knowing that you will be waiting for me to walk through those gates!
Mr. O Thank you for everything!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU!!!!!

One Step at a Time!

Anja, the Boys, and I, have now been in Cali since June. It has been a roller coaster ride with high moments and low moments, and plenty of culture shock! I knew that the culture shock would be there, we have not been in the United States to live for 6 years, and though not much has changed a lot has, and will take some time to adjust. Thanks for the Prayers!
Many wonder How things are going for us, So I write today to let all know this is where God has us right now. One Step at a Time. The Lord has not shown Anja and I the big picture yet all we see right now is the next step our foot needs to go. Listen to this verse we got the other day.
Psalm 86:13  Righteousness goes before him  and prepares the way for his steps.
What an amazing verse, Yes it speaks of our Lord, how righteousness is going before Him and it prepares the way for his steps. But as a Pastor friend of mine shared how the Lord used this verse in His life in a time of change, it sunk deep into my heart and I knew this is exactly what God is doing in our life. This is where He has us.
We all know what is right and wrong, the question is are we doing what is right? It is amazing as you read through the Bible and see the Men God used, there was wickedness all around them yet those who did what was right, God always prospered, God always showed them the way in which they were to go. It is said of Noah that He was found a just man in His generation, in a generation that wanted nothing to do with God, they were only interested in their own things, and they were wicked. This was all around Him, Yet He did not give in to the temptation but kept his focus upon God and in doing what was right. What took place then, was that it  prepared the way for his steps and GOD led him and his family through difficult days. This is what God is calling us the four harts to do. To Trust in Him who is the author and finisher of our faith, who has promised never to leave us nor to forsake us, Who said to us as we were leaving Germany to Fear not He is with Us and When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Let me tell you we are having our shares of passing through waters that are High and through the rivers, But we are not being swept away. He is sustaining us, and helping us take the next step.
We Rest upon Him, and His promises knowing that it is impossible for Him to lie. He is always and will always be True to His Word. When He says He has a plan for our lives and His thoughts toward us are of peace and not of evil, to give us a future and a hope that is exactly then what it is, regardless of the now situation. I am right now barely able to move, I have really bad back spasms, I broke my big toe just before Halloween, Yes I could sit here and ask Why, God don't you see I don't need this right now, well that is what I think. But He knows what I need.
And He is directing my steps. His word tells me in Proverbs That though my heart plans my ways He directs my steps.
He is calling Anja, the Boys and I to walk right now One step at a Time, Doing what we know to be right, staying focused upon Him and that will prepare the path in front of us.
So for you in whatever situation you find yourself in, You know what is right! Don't follow those around you who are seeking the things of this world, Seek the Kingdom first and all these things will be added unto you. Seek righteousness and that will prepare the path you are to be taking.
We don't know the big picture, but we do know, He has called us to take it One Step at Time, doing those things we know to be right, and watching that Prepare the path in front of us.
God is Good! Keep your eyes upon Him, your ear's open to His voice and when He speaks Obey.
As my pastor in Germany always said  May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen

Update

Wow, I am sorry that it has taken me this long to finally write. America, I must say I do enjoy being back, and yes I miss Germany too :) There are always pro's and con's to living there and living here, but having my wife and two boys on my side, we could live anywhere and it would always be HOME!
God continues to teach me to wait upon Him, that I must admit is the hardest thing, but He has given us those promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us, that though it get's hard He is there, and that knowledge alone should bring my life peace and it does.

Since the last blog, somethings have changed, Anja has a part time job, I am working at Calvary Chapel South Bay helping out in their maintenance department, and in the process of trying to get hired on with the LAPD. Levi and Luca are doing great here, and God is protecting them. Just today Levi was on His bike coming home with a friend, Levi looked right, was getting ready to go, His friend goes on before him, Levi looks left as His friend is already in front of him on the street, when Levi sees a car, yells at his friend to stop but it was too late the car hits his friend. This friend of Levi's was ok, was not  taken by the ambulance but I am sure that he is sore. God had his hand upon my boy and my prayers go out to this friend of Levi's
Luca is also doing very well, He got an A+ in school and was so excited and kept saying an "A+ my first one in my whole entire life"
We also have found a little house to rent on the same street as my parents, God is so good we were praying for a place to find in the same area as the boys school as to prevent too many changes. God hooked us up and Anja has done a wonderful job making it home.
Thank you so much for all your prayers as things change and God opens doors I will write,
Until then Redeem the Time, For His return is soon :)

A New Season in Our Life

Here we are, back now in the United States. Sunny California :)

Now I was hoping by now to be able to say that we have a place to live, a new job, and that we are settling in just fine. Well we are settling in just fine but I still do not have a job nor do we have a place of our own yet. We find ourselves in a place right now where God has us waiting and trusting. I know that He will come through He always has and just in the perfect timing.
There are job opportunities lined up just waiting back to hear from them. Anja and the boys are doing well, and we are all looking forward to Yosemite this coming Sunday for one whole week. I will make sure to post some pictures. We have been spending a lot of time with each other and catching up on old friendships, this has been such a blessing.
The boys will be starting school here soon, so that is what we will also be concentrating on, making sure that the adjustment for them is as smooth as it can be.

I just wanted to write shortly to give an update, and to thank you all for your prayers, and words of encouragment. May God Bless you all.
As soon as I hear more about a job, and a place of our own I will let you all know.

Staying focussed on His Plan, and His Will

Jesus in the center

And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where the crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center.
Luke 19:17-18

Is Jesus Christ in the center of your life? Is Jesus Christ in the center of your marrige? Is Jesus Christ the center of your family? Is Jesus Christ in the center of your job? Is He? that is exactly where He needs to be the center of everything you do. He has called us to the narrow road to follow Him and the only way to remain on that road is to have Him in the center of our sight, To stay strong and encouraged when it get's difficult on that road we need to have Him the center of our sight. To Find the way we need to have Him center in our sight. I am so thankful that on that Day Jesus was in the center. And I am so thankful that He is in the center of my life today! Is He in Yours?

He is the way, the truth, the life no one comes to the Father but through Him!
John 14:6
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.!
John 3:16-17
Choose Him to be the center of your life and Live!

GOING BACK TO CALI

Anja, the Boys, and I will be calling California  Home once agian! For many of you this is new news for some you old news.
With most change in life there comes with this move joy and sadness. I mean picking up the tent pegs once again after six years being in Germany and saying Good Bye is not easy, on the other hand we are as a family very excited to see what God has in store for us in Cali. Many of you might be asking 'what is it that you will be doing?' That is a very good question and one that I can not at this moment answer. The Lord has placed some things on my heart that at the moment I would like to keep there as we prayerfully follow His lead. Some of you reading this know the direction we are going and as the doors keep opening up we will let you know. It is with the Words that the Lord spoke to the Israelites through the prophet Isaiah in Chapter 43 that we move out " But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, For I have redeemed you; I have called you y your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not e burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Isreal, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honred, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you;..." These verses have brought us so much comfort as we step out in Faith to follow what we feel the Lord has placed on our heart to know that He is with us and has commanded us not to Fear. Levi and Luca are very excited to be going to Cali and they are sad to have to say goodbye to Anja's family as well we all are. Please keep this part of the move in your prayers as I am sure many of you know how it is. I am in my last week of work and that is bittersweet, serving here for the last 3 years has been wonderful and God has used it in so many ways in my life City Chapel has been home and will always be home for us in Germany, We are very excited to see what God is going to do here and is doing as we move on, New people stepping up to fill in the gaps, New direction for certain ministries Praise God! Roland and City Chapel Thank you for allowing me to serve the King with you it has been an honor.
Just two minutes ago someone came by my office and gave me a peice of Chocalte with a verse attached to it just another WOW moment withGod! I will close with the verse I recieved and will blog again soon! Thank you for your prayers
" Fear Not, For I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

a poem

on Nov. 15th at 7:15 am, the day of my heart surgery, the Lord woke me up early (it was actually through a nurse giving me my pre-meds) and laid a poem on my heart. It was inspired through a good friend who told me that "The One above will watch out for me", so it's titled "The ONE above":

The ONE above
The ONE above, He is my shepherd.
The One above, I shall not want.
The One above, He goes before me.
The One above, He calms my heart.

The One above, He knows the valleys.
The One above, He leads me through.
The One above, He lifts my burdens.
The One above, He calms my heart.

The One above now holds and heals me.
The One above now fills me up:
with peace that passes understanding.
The One above, He calms my heart.

The One above, He answers prayers,
The One above, He is my rock.
The One above, a mighty fortress,
The One above, He calms my heart.

So Lord please take this day now,
please guide my every breath.
Please fill me with your joy now.
My Lord and Saviour, my One above, YOU calm my heart.

back home

Hello Hello,

i've been home since Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so nice getting picked up from my men, getting home and being welcomed by the family and good friends, enjoying GOOD food and the wonderful feeling of "arriving home". You guys are the best and i love you all so much. I don't have words to describe what I found at home, a million of Christmas cookies, gifts, cards, mails... only tears (happy tears) can describe that.
The rehab time was very good, i would say i'm at 80% health right now. My blood pressure is still too low, so i get dizzy quite a bit. I try to go on walks to stabilize that, but i have to say that it's getting better already. Today i helped a bit in the house, i'm allowed to lift 10lbs, not more. 2 weeks ago i still had some liquid in the heart sac but it's all gone now. My mitral valve is tight, there is no more insufficiency. God also helped me to process the last 4 weeks, i wrote down everything in my journal so it's out of my mind. When i feel a little better i will try to watch my surgery on DVD, ... interested???
Tomorrow morning i go to the doctors to keep working on my blood count, hopefully i'm done with giving myself the tummy shots (there is no more room on my belly), but we need a better INR (that's the blood thinning rate i have to be on for 3-6 months)
My cardiologist wants to see me too this week to take a look at my "new look". after that i should only have to go once or twice a year. I'm kind of done with doctors and needles. Trust me.

Thank you again for everything!!!! God is so good, He helped us through.

Merry Christmas to all of you. "Jesus is the season for the season"

Love, Anja & 3 very happy boys

Her Voice

photo by Powerhouse Museum Collectionvia PhotoRee

We so often take the simple things in life for granted, I was confronted with this yesterday. It was a Great Day even though the weather outside was rainy, cold, dark the Lord brought Sunshine into my day. I was nervous like I was getting ready for my first date, Got the boys off to school was getting ready and could not wait till 2pm came around, I was going to go visit My wife in the hospital. The nervousness I felt was also because I can't stand hospitals but also nervous because I did not know how I was going to handle seeing my wife laying there in pain hooked up to the monitors and such. I was praying the whole way there "Lord give me the strength to be her support"
I arrive at the hospital met by the friendly faces of all the nurses and doctors on their shift and I ask Where my wife is, they inform me she is upstairs so I take the elevator and arrive on the top floor to face a huge crowd of people all dressed up in suits and dresses mixed within the crowd a lot of doctors someone is speaking threw a microphone welcoming all the guest. The hospital is under construction and the top floor that I was on is the new addition they are having a party. I could not get through the crowd everyone was looking at me I don't fit in so I found a stair case to the back and ended up where I started. Their must be another way to get to my wife, I stop a nurse and ask How can I get to my wife another way I can't get through the crowd she tells me I can go the back way by using the emergency exit, I arrive finally to the floor where my wife was the nurses were waiting for me I knocked on the door and they came wondering why I didn't use the front door so I explained and they laughed knowing exactly what I meant. They led me into the room where my wife laid, her eyes closed hooked up to monitors, It was still in the room just the sound of the monitor monitoring her heart, I got closer to her bed my heart pounding, Anja moved a little open her eyes, she gave me a smile the best that she could and the very thing that I so often take for granted but in that moment was so precious and fulfilling her voice soft and quiet said "Hallo Shatz"  translated "Hello Treasure" those words still ring in my head as I write this a Gift from God. I was able to spend the next 2 hours with her talking with her, the nurse informed me that she had not eaten anything yet it was 2pm about half way into my visit she asked if she could have something to eat and ate a yogurt and drank a cup of tee and asked for another:  I left shortly after with a huge smile on my face and skip in my step of the faithfulness of Our God who answers prayers. That night God Blessed us again after dinner was over I took the trash out to return to Luca opening the door with a smile from ear to ear Mommy is on the phone, What Mommy is on the phone? walking into the living room to hear Levi and Luca talking with Anja a day after her surgery, her voice which I often to often took for granted hearing stronger then when I was there, listening to her telling the boys how proud she was of them, telling them she was ok and that she loved them, telling them that she had eaten more and was getting ready for bed and told them good night!
I got to thinking what else have I been taking for granted, Have I been taking the Voice of God for granted as well? Have I been taking for granted all that He has done for me and given me. God gave His only begotten Son that whoever would believe on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Have I taken that for granted and am trying to have that and live in the world as well?  I read of How when Adam and Eve hid in the garden it says there in Genesis 3:8 "And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day,..." Have I taken for granted that He the LORD God wants to spend time with me?
Oh that we all would come back to enjoy the simple things in life, as the voice of a loved one, the smiles on their faces the gentleness of their touch, Oh that we would come back to appreciate and cherish and await with anticipation the times we have with the Lord as He comes to walk with us in the garden in the cool of day He has given everything to have that time with you, He has made it possible through the blood of His Son that He can walk and talk with you forever, He has promised to be with you, to lead and instruct and guide you along your way here in life. Don't take it for granted.

Thank You

Levi, Anja, Luca

Anja & Josiah

Levi and Luca would like to thank all of you for your prayers and support and are thankful that Mommy is out of surgery. Praise God
I am also very relieved, Today was a hard day of trying to stay occupied and found myself often in prayer that Anja would come through surgery just fine. The verse my Dad gave Anja before her surgery in a mail sparked the thoughts for my blog this morning it is Isaiah 41:13 For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. This is exactly what God did the Doctors were able to reconstruct Anja's Heart valve and now begins Her healing process. We wanted to thank you all for your prayers and support and would ask that you do not stop for we need them. The boys and I will sleep better tonight knowing that Anja is doing better. I will keep you all updated

 God Bless
Josiah

"Not Knowing"

Have you ever been there, I am sure we all have been there or we will be finding ourselves there at one time or another the place of Not knowing what is going to happen, what will the results be? Will it all work out? Recently and even now as I write I find myself there "Not knowing"... what is going to happen, how will it all turn out?
You see my wife has had a Mitral Valve Prolapse her whole life and we knew that eventually if it got worst she would have to under go surgery, One tends to push that thought far away and say sometime in the future that will come hoping that it never has to come to that. Well the news came from the Dr. that we should act and have the surgery done to reconstruct the valve. and So we stand at the "Not knowing"
It was a tuesday I was at work and my wife called me, I could tell by her voice that something was not right and she says "I need to have heart surgery" a million thoughts run through your head at that moment, what do I say, how do I comfort her, I respond the only way I know how God will get us through. We hung up the phone and I began to pray "Not Knowing" what was it going to be like, how dangerous is this surgery, is there a good hospital here in the area who specialize in this kind of heart surgery.
The day before on Monday My boss called and asked if I would be able to swicth teaching days with Him and I said yes no problem well now it's tuesday and the "Not Knowing" has began and I must consentrate on Studing for Sunday "God I need your help"  that is a prayer of mine everytime I am preparing to teach but this time it was even more "God help me to consentrate on your word and not on the "Not Knowing"
He had a plan like He always does, We were going thru the book of 2 Samuel looking at the Man after God's own Heart David (just finished last Sunday great book) and I had the privilage of looking and teaching 2 Samuel 22 that Sunday October 3rd.
As I began to read the chapter the Lord spoke loud and clear and comforted me in the "Not Knowing" You see David here is coming to the end of His life and we know from scripture that He had many "Not Knowing" times but here in chapter 22 of Samuel in the first 4 verses He does not dwelll on the "Not Knowing" He does not allow his thoughts to go there but turns his thoughts and His heart to the One He does Know and displays in His Song here a Confidence In Who GOD Is: God is His Rock, His Fortress, His deliverer, His strength in whom he will trust His shield, the horn of his salvation, His Savior who will save him from violence. This Confidence in Who God is gave David the abillity to reflect upon His life and to remeber all that God had done and states many things from verses 4 to 46. This reflecting upon what God had done in His life gave David a Conficence in What God would Do 2Samuel 22:47-51, 23:1-7
The Lord was speaking to us the Four Hart's Who am I? I am your Rock (a firm foundation under your feet) I am your fortresss, I am your Savior, I am your Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,Prince of Peace. Look at what I have done in your life and let this give you a Confidence in what I will Do.
So in the "Not Knowing" we find rest in the "ONE WHO DOES KNOW" For He is the Same Yesterday,Today, and Forever. He began a good work and He will finish it until it's completion. He is there, He has not left for He has Promised never to leave us nor forsake us and It is impossible for Him to lie.
So If you find yourself in the "Not Knowing" Group then come join us in finding rest in the "ONE WHO DOES KNOW" Group.

Saying See you Later.

I never did like Good bye's because it sounded as though it was forever and so I try to always say See You Later becasue it implies for me that very truth that I will see you later. Well My Grandma went home this week, What a wonderful place that is, the very place that Jesus has gone to prepare for all of us who believe on Him as Lord and Saviour. She was a wonderful women someone I will trully miss. She loved to help others and always went out of her way to make you feel welcomed. She was my connection to home, there was nothing she didn't tell me I knew and was up to date with everything that was going on back with My family in Cali. Where jessica and joyce moved, what my little brother and his family were up too, where my older brother and his family went on vacation, what new project my dad started to do on the house, how much my mom was working. She even kept me uptodate on people I haven't seen since childhood she would write me 6 page letters filled with family issues I loved it and was up to speed on everything. Her writting was not the easiest to read but that was part of the excitment Levi, Luca and Anja loved to hear what she had to write there were more than once I had to fight back tears from being home sick just because she would not leave out one detail and I could picture it all just as if I was sitting there living it with her. I could tell when she would get tired because her writting would get bigger the spaces would grow and she would write "Ok my boy my hand is hurting got to rest I love you my boy!" Those words were the last words I heard my Grandma say to me just a week ago I called her told her that Levi and Luca, Anja and I were praying for her and that we loved her she was able to say to me " I Love You too my Boy"
What wonderful last words to hear from a Women I will always hold dear in my heart, She wrote me a poem a couple of years ago for my birthday and as I read it out loud to my friends I had to cry from just missing her hug and kiss and smile. she wrote:
" I wrote your name in the sky the wind came and blew it away, I wrote your name in the sand where I stand the waves came and washed it away, then I thought and wrote your name in my heart where I know it will stay." Babchi that is exactly what I have done your name will be forever in my heart where I know it will stay. The Bible tells me in Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" That was my Babchi a saint I know that because my Babchi confessed with her mouth that Jesus Christ was Lord and she believed in her heart that God raised him from the dead she was saved. She is now like I said earlier worshiping at His feet, No more tears, no more pain, no more sin. Babchi I will see you later, For any of you who knew my Babchi and do not yet know our Jesus personally, There is no other way to heaven but throught Jesus Christ and if you want the hope that she had and that I have and that many in my family have to spend eternity with Jesus and go where she is then make things right with Jesus today.
My Babchi is now living the life she was created to live Forever in the Presance of Jesus and I am going there you can too. Say Yes to jesus and experiance the forgiveness of sin.
Babchi I'm coming home can't wait to see you again. Until that day forever you will be in my heart where you will stay.
I love you!

No More!

NO MORE!

Have you found yourself saying,
NO MORE!
But still you go on.
Have you found yourself with the wrong crowd saying,
NO MORE!
But still you go on.
Have you found yourself falling saying,
NO MORE!
Yet still you go on.
Have you found yourself crying, empty, abused, forgotten and tired saying,
NO MORE!
And yet you go on.
Have you found yourself searching for acceptance from family, friends, foe saying,
NO MORE!
But still you go on.
Have you heard the Master calling saying,
KNOW MORE!
This is the way to the NO MORE!
"...behold now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2)
"Come out from among them. And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you. I will be a Father to you And you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." (2 Corinthians 6:17-18)
NO MORE! you say, then KNOW MORE!
and go on, for He is the Way, the Truth, the Life.

How are You being Salt and Light to a Dark Tastless World

A billboard asking "Would you rather watch porn with your Mum or your sister?", has sparked calls for stricter controls on outdoor advertising.

The billboard in Hamilton's CBD advertises a pre-mixed drink made by DB Breweries.

In response, advocacy group Voice Waikato has put up a sign saying "This is offensive - porn hurts women and children."

Has alcohol advertising become too offensive and tasteless? The answer is the world has become too offensive and tasteless.

I read this artical in a newspaper recently and interesting enough I was reading in Matthew Chapter 5:13-16 " You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the ligth of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it udner a basket, but on a lampstand and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Jesus here is not asking if you want to be or that you will be He is stating a fact and that is that you are the salt and that you are the light, What is it that is keeping you from being Salt to this tasteless world, What is it that is keeping you from shining your Light in this Dark world. Ask GOD to reveal it to you, And let me encourage you that when He reveals it to you that you throw it at his feet, Leave it there and go out into a Tasteless Dark world and Brighten it up bring a tastefull message out to them That Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. This world needs Jesus and those of you who believe in Him as your Saviour you have the cure for their tastelesness and darkness. Give them Jesus

Hello!

Well it has been awhile since I have written here, since it seems that the wave of keeping in touch has shifted once agian and everyone is on Facebook. If you are not on thier yet it is a great way to keep in touch with all of your family and friends and Missionaries :)

Anyway The Four Harts are doing well, we have been going, going, and going but that is life isn't it. I was though confronted once agian with the knowledge that I am dependent upon my computer, this last week in preperation for Sunday's service my laptop screen goes black and I started to freak out, Oh no what am I going to do the whole teaching is on their How will I ever finish.

What have I forgotten to sit down pick up a pen and write it out!
It seems as though I have, I can not remeber the last time I sat down and wrote a letter by hand everything now is E-mail or an SMS from a cell phone crazy, what would we all do if we had to write letters agian. I tell you one thing I believe we would all have a lot less stress. Life would slow down and I tell you something that would be nice. With E-mail if you don't respond within seconds of recieving it you have some angry people. But I must say I am happy though that I have the internet and the chance to write such nonsens, Just think the amount of people reading this Iwould be writting for days and then I would have to buy stamps and then send it by

Well all I hope to stay in better contact with you all. Here is a little update on THE FOUR HARTS

I have taken on many new responsabillities in the church. under my care are the areas Worship,Missions,Outreach,Prayer,Connect and then Kommunications.
Now this does not mean that I am leading all of these areas but I am make sure that the leaders themselves have everything they need to do thier minsitry when there are problems I help so this includes a lot of work but it is good. On top of this I am helping out with teaching and this is very fun and I am learning a lot. My prayer is that I would be a Shepherd like God says He will send Israel in Jeremiah 3:15
Anja has started to work again as a Dental Assistant she works two days in a week Monday's and Thursday she loves it.
Levi an Luca are doing good and are full of life, school for them has it's up's and downs but they are doing good, Levi got his report card and it was good, We had to laugh He got an A in English and a C in Germans that is my boy:) German is not easy I know.
Well this is getting long and I need to go so until next time, try writting a letter and send it to someone you know it will make their day it is fun getting mail in your real mailbox not just e-mail
Love you all

Happy Thanksgiving

" Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting."
1 Chronicles 16:34

How much we have to be thankful for, just look around even though we might be as a nation suffering financially as people we have we still have more than we need. Are you today thankful for the freedom that you have, are you thankful for the clean water you drink, the food in your stomach. Are you thankful for the roof over your head, for the clothes on your back.

Most importantly are you thankful for the Lord, Are you thankful for the blood he shed that you might be set free from the sin that so easily ensnares you. Are you thankful for His grace and His mercy that are new every morning. Are you thankful for the knowledge that Soon and very Soon He will return.

God I want to Thank you for all that you have done for me, I want to thank you for giving me such a wonderful wife for blessing me with two wonderful boys. I want to thank you for giving me such wonderful friends who have remained through the years. I want to thank you for such great support from my family and from my wife's family You are so Good! Lord I want to thank you for such great churches behind us who are praying for us and for the work they are doing Thank you for Calvary Chapel Chino Hills, thank you for Calvary Chapel South Bay Lord Thank you for the Church you have brought us too here in Stuttgart for City Chapel Lord I want to thank you for Calvary Chapel Heidelberg and for the many other Calvary Chapels in Germany and world wide who faithfully are teaching your word. I thank you for the hope you have given us in your Son Jesus Christ.
Today and for Evermore I will Thank you .

" Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name, Make know His deeds among the peoples."
1 Chronicles 16:8
