A billboard asking "Would you rather watch porn with your Mum or your sister?", has sparked calls for stricter controls on outdoor advertising.
The billboard in Hamilton's CBD advertises a pre-mixed drink made by DB Breweries.
In response, advocacy group Voice Waikato has put up a sign saying "This is offensive - porn hurts women and children."
Has alcohol advertising become too offensive and tasteless? The answer is the world has become too offensive and tasteless.I read this artical in a newspaper recently and interesting enough I was reading in Matthew Chapter 5:13-16 " You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the ligth of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it udner a basket, but on a lampstand and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Jesus here is not asking if you want to be or that you will be He is stating a fact and that is that you are the salt and that you are the light, What is it that is keeping you from being Salt to this tasteless world, What is it that is keeping you from shining your Light in this Dark world. Ask GOD to reveal it to you, And let me encourage you that when He reveals it to you that you throw it at his feet, Leave it there and go out into a Tasteless Dark world and Brighten it up bring a tastefull message out to them That Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. This world needs Jesus and those of you who believe in Him as your Saviour you have the cure for their tastelesness and darkness. Give them Jesus
