Like Father, Like Son

Here we Go! If you remember one of my first blogs was me saying I can't wait to kajak with my boys and I placed there a picture of the Boy's in there sand made kajak's well here is Levi on Mother's Day paddiling around a pond at a friends house. He amazed me and I can't wait to get out with Him. We first started off with Him in the kajak with our friend and soon saw that He was able to paddle and handle the boat alone so we tried it and the rest is History, He was paddling around that little pond like it was no big deal like He had beend doing it for ever,I am looking into a class that we can take to learn saftey and the How To's of Kajaking. He keeps asking me to buy him one, What a great sport and one the whole family can do and from the rivers we can see parts of this wonderful world Our GOD has created that many just can't get too. So we will keep you all informed on How this little paddler is doing, Really can't wait to get out on the river with Him. Luca needs some more time to learn to swim but once He has accomplished this task this summer we will all be out on the river tearing it up.
Here is another video of Levi in the Kajak, He thought it was bumper boats :)

Bare Foot Hike

Hello Everyone
This was a great day, We hiked 2,4km barefoot what an experiance. Anja the boys and I with Anja's sissters Claudia and Katrin, Katrin's Husband Timo Oh yeah can't forget thier baby on the way was also there and Anja's Mom. Walking on the rock's, over glass, in cold, cold water, mud and sand. I liked the sand the most I closed my eyes and really could hear the ocean. If any of you ever come out to see us we are going here this is somehting everyone needs to experiance really at the end of the hike when you wash your feet off with very ice cold water why cold mayby because it cost too much for them to have hot water anyways your feet are very sensitve it is a wierd feeling. The boys had a great time and we even saw a deer as we were hiking it was such a great day. After the hike we drove to a lake and spent the rest of the day relaxing, eating, playing what great memories. And we wanted to share them with you all have fun looking at the pictures.

Get away with Roland and the Elders

What a great time this was, We were able to get away to Switzerland for two days where we attended a conference. It was my first time in Switzerland and definatly not my last it was so beautifull. On the way in to Switzerland Hajo and Martin were talking about this waterfall that was real close and so on our way to the conference we took a little detour and checked out the Masterpiece our God made "The Rheinfall". WOW! I must say it was loud and amazing to be so close to the water coming down. A must if you are ever in the area. Thanks guys for the great time and the great talks it is such a blessing to be apart of the team. Matthew agian we missed you but staying home with your wife who will be giving birth any moment was wise :)

First Family Fun

The last 5 weeks were filled with all kinds of different fun. A lot of our close friends have come to visit us to see where we live and to do some cool things with us. We just had a church hike, a few BBQs, trips to different castles, a Spring type of Oktoberfest (fair), Mama's 55th birthday party,...
Thank you for making the trip to visit us and support us here. we are looking forward to many more special times with you.

The Move and Finished Appartment

Hello Everyone,
Sorry that it has taken me so long to write, we have been really busy and were without Internet for awhile but now we are up and running and wanted to share what is going on. The move went smoothly. Thanks to the help we recieved from Heidelberg we had the truck filled in 90 Minutes (you guys are the best!) Thanks again HD. And I must say Stuttgart you guys rock too! They helped us unload in only 30 minutes and set the house up as you can see in the pictures. Now that is enough from me I think you all should hear from the love of my life...
Guten Tag, where should i start??? there is so much on my mind and heart and i am still in the process of sorting out and settling in. yes, the move went great and the biggest praise report is that Levi and Luca are doing well. they have found many new friends both in school and the neighborhood and are constantly playing outside. Luca was sick during the move and had to be on cortison for a few weeks but has recovered alright. he does have allergies (like me), so we are going through a lot of tissue and constantly get to hear "God bless you" ("Gesundheit"). We are very thankful for the many blessings God has given us and the grace He has shown us lately.
our new appartment is nice, i got blessed with a brand new kitchen (Thank you City Chapel) and i really like the rest of it too. i was getting tired of screw drivers and we were pretty sore from renovating but after the 4 day week end we just enjoyed we feel refreshed.
