A New Chapter

We are almost done with the first month of 2008, Amazing How fast things are going by these days. This Year is bringing some changes in our lives, And a new chapter in our lives begins. It is bitter/sweet that we bring this news, Bitter because we say see you later to a church that has been home to us for the last 3 years, we say see you later to Heidelberg a beautiful city which we have fallen in love with, but sweet because of the new things that God has opened up for us, Sweet because of the new friends and family that God has given to us in Stuttgart. That is right Anja the boys and I will be moving to Stuttgart where I will take the Assistant Pastor position there and assist Roland Krumm in the work GOD is doing at City Chapel. We ask for your prayers as we are in the process of hunting for a place to live, and also hunting for a school for the boys. We are very excited about the challenges and lessons that we will learn and are waiting to see what God has for us. It is very sad to leave Heidelberg but we know it is not forever for we will have eternity with those who have become so dear to us over the last 3 Years. God gave Anja and I a verse before we ever came on the Mission field and that was Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach in the way you should go I will guide you with my eye." He continues to show Himself faithful to His word as He in this situation Has done this very thing and we know that He will continue to do so. It is so comforting to know that though things in our lives change He remains the same and True to His Word. Another verse He gave us when we came on the mission field is found in Joshua 1:9 9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." So we hed out excited for this new chapter in our lives knowing that those we leave behind are in Good Hands as they rest in the Fathers Hands and as we step out in faith to that which awaits us we go out remaining strong and of good courage, not afraid nor dismayed For we know who is with us wherever we go. For those who read this in Heidelberg understand this is not a Goodbye for those are forever but simply a See You Later for with Christ and in Christ we have eternity together. It is either Here or There or in the Air.
We love you all and God Bless.
